_______________

January 24, 2005

TranceFM Radio went live along with a basic website UKOnlineHosting is used to serve streams at 128kbps only, music was streamed via Wayne’s ADSL line.

TranceFM was originally founded on the 24th of January 2005 by one of my best friends Wayne. Wayne’s plan was to create an online radio station dedicated to trance, however as with most of Wayne’s projects this plan was short lived. A lot of time was spent developing the playlist, however the website was neglected. By the time Wayne had sorted the playlist he had turned his attentions to other personal projects and as a result the station went offline.

In November 2006 I (Adam) acquired the domain trancefm.co.uk from Wayne in the hope that at some point I would continue where he left off. 9 mouths later that time has finally arrived. I now have a database full of music and an outstanding website to match, thanks goes to my wonderful fiancée Sophie for her outstanding patience and design skills.

With TranceFM reborn my main focus is now to serve the world with first class trance. TranceFM is purely a hobby and as such any money made from the site goes towards running costs and future developments.
